“How can you guys stand watching TV anymore? The last reality TV show I watched about made me wanna blow my brains out! It seems like everything on air has debased itself to the level of MTV. You can’t even watch the History channel anymore without being lied to constantly. ugh”

When James exhorts us to not be friends with the world (“You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God?”, James 4:4), is he telling us that we should not be friends with those in the world who do not know Jesus?

It amazes me how some Christians can be so clear that when James tells us “faith without works is dead,” they don’t stray from the correct biblical principle that we are not saved by our deeds but by faith alone.

Immediately, what came to mind was the small number of Christians on YouTube who create blatant animosity among non-believers as almost a badge of courage. And, like the guy on the train, that non-believer walks away thinking that all Christians are jerks.

It takes just one to spoil the bunch.
